It is not well known in the music world that Wallace Dietz, song writer and guitarist for The Silent Boys, wrote a children's book. "Property of the North Pole" is a 43-page hardcover book beautifully illustrated in color by Christy Mullen. The story is one of an imaginative young boy who is on the cusp of disbelief in Santa Claus and discovers the true meaning of the season by working with 3 magical Santas to bring Christmas to a less fortunate family. The book looks like a typical picture book for a very young child but the vocabulary and length is such that it requires a parent or older sibling to share the story. Snuggle up "in bed under blankets stacked like pancakes" and enjoy this Christmas tale with your own favorite believer.
